what's the best FPS game in the world?

If you ask me Call of Duty series are the best but im waiting for other games =)

I would have to Half-Life and Half-Life II.. Also can't forget about the mods for it: Counter Strike/CS Source Team Fortress / DoD

I have played cs 1.6 now for a few years and never tired!

CS 1.5 is also the clarity of fun but much hassle to get it

Quake II, by a very long way. I don't like the way the new FPSs feel, I'm not into the whole realism thing, and I grew up with it so I'm hardly gonna say anything else. HL2 is a close second though, for the physics.
