Ok I saw this other Wallpapers
for PR and wanted my own so i made this Wallpapers its both the same just 2 diff versions =]


So yea tell me if you like it or not.
I don't like it personally sooo much....
but maybe you do^^
or maybe you can tell me wat i can do better^^
well anywayz in the rar file ive put in a .psd of it so u can see wat i did, tell me wat i can do better, or do it better on ur own^_^

1 tip I would like every single person who makes even just one image with an image editing application:

Never base your image on bevel effects.

and btw that text looks quite low-res...

uhm k
only used bevel fx at the text but ok
and the text is low res cuz i dont have a logo of it in high res =[

oh.. well let's say that all the shapes in those images looked like they were done by using beveling effects... sorry 'bout that..
and why don't you make the "logo" yourself, since it's just text? o.O
And even if it was some more complex image, you could still just make a vector out of it


edit:
And by saying it looks beveled, I mean that everything in those images look like they have some weird 3D / wet edge effects on them...

And just as a test; try removing the pirator text, and add a black color overlay over the ship layer (You did use layers, right?)

mmm not bad.

I'd say remove the water effects that are in the foreground (in front of the ship). You need a new pirate ship, the one you have is a bit weak so to google!

Something like this:


Or this, if you want to keep in that side view angle you got:

Theres a bunch of ways. The easiest is to use the Extract filter (Filter -> Extract).

Low opacity? What do mean? Like enough of the ship isnt visible?
