Thumbs up Use Netbeans

Use Netbeans as your java editor. You can also order one DVD free. For ebooks I think you just search the forum with 'java' there are so many. For further any help feel free to post message here or PM me

i used jcreator when i learned java. it's light and fast. netbeans is too heavy. it's for professional programmer, not for new learner.

i don't know java quick tutorial. but I know 2 good java books. they are useful as reference for veteran programmer, and they are useful for new learner (although I'm not sure how long you need to read them, since both books are very thick)
