i used
Webspell
Ilch
and SMF
and gotta say SMF seems to be secure and it got much mods and is easy to mod on your own even for ppl with not so much knowledge ;D

webspell got much cool skins but easy to hack tho

and ilch i just used once n didnt like it cuz its tooooooo eaasy but would be nice for beginners i guess

Punbb is the best one i think. very easy and free .
